Description

Please note: This is a listing for a PDF version of an out-of-print zine. The photos are of the original print version. Artist retains all rights. Please do not redistribute.

An arbitrary collection of illustrated folk sayings. A minizine depicting some of the most frequent and favourite colloquialisms I’ve heard from my family since I was a child. Let these fat little animals and their rudimentary limbs be your guide! Never wonder again what “horse horse tiger tiger” means. And the next time your uncoordinated friend defeats you in a game, you can call them a blind cat stumbling on a dead mouse without batting an eye.

8 pages featuring 4 original watercolour illustrations with translations and explanations for the classic Chinese proverbs that inspired them.

Shipping Policy

I ship using Canada Post and USPS. Canada large orders (~400-500g+) and US orders via USPS will have tracking. For Canadian and International customers, please contact me at m(at)humangray[dot]com before placing any order if you wish to ensure your package has tracking or would like to insure it for extra! Please note that availability will vary depending on destination. If you will be ordering a lot, or multiples of a large/thick book, please contact me in advance so I can make sure the shipping costs are accurate and fair! In rare situations I may need to contact you after your order to correct shipping discrepancies. I will refund appropriately if the actual shipping and handling costs are less. Sorry about the trouble, and thank you for your understanding! Depending on the product, I package using a combination of bubble mailers, standard envelopes with protective lining/stiffeners, and/or protective sleeves. I clearly mark the exterior to avoid bending during transition. Whenever possible I aim to use environmentally-friendly materials in my packaging. These include: * paper made with fibre sourced from responsibly-managed forests, and processed without the use of harmful elemental chlorine * reclaimed or recycled papers (e.g. old stationery and prints) * reused interior packaging (e.g. clear bags/protective sleeves)

But if you do have any issues with the condition of your purchase when you receive it, please send me an email at m(at)humangray[dot]com and we'll work it out!
